Washable Wool Comforter
We could sing the praises of washable wool all day long: it’s hypoallergenic (allergy sufferers, rejoice!), it’s moisture-wicking (no more night sweats), and antimicrobial (say goodbye to pesky microorganisms). Encased in 100% cotton cover, our washable wool comforter boasts a clean, minimalistic style all on its own. But looks and feels great with the addition of our super-soft Bamboo Duvet Covers, available in a variety of colors for any season. Adding a duvet cover is a great way to protect your comforter from everyday perspiration, accidental stains, or soiling. Not to mention, it’s easier to remove and machine wash so you can keep your comforter feeling fresh and clean.

FAQ
Question: What process or chemicals has the wool in your washable wool comforters undergone so that it doesn’t felt during washing?
Answer: The wool filling in our washable wool comforters is bathed in hydrogen peroxide to strip scales from the wool, while maintaining its natural wicking benefits. This process assures we deliver the cleanest, low maintenance product possible without using bleach or plasticizing the wool.
Care Instructions
Machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle, preferably with a mild, biodegradable detergent. Tumble dry, low to no heat.

We have been using the super king sized wool comforter for two or three years now in our kit sized bed. It is comfortable 9 months out of the year in the Portland Oregon area. We store it from late June through mid October. It is not heavy but has enough density that it is soothing to sleep under. I got a duvet so I have not had to try washing it. I love how there are no feathers in my room anymore. I plan to buy more in the future.

Amazing. Last night was my first under this comforter and it was the best sleep, ever! Even though I run cold (cold fingers and toes no matter what time of year), I sleep hot and almost always find myself sweaty in the middle of the night even though it’s still cold for me. Under this blanket I was perfectly warm. It’s a nice weight, crisp cotton, and not very fluffy at all. For aesthetics, I wish there was more loft, but it truly is perfect as is. And, thank you so much for delivering to my home during the lockdown. Local is seriously the best. ?

I absolutely love this store and their products and have been buying from them for 20 years. I am always freezing at night, and had used a down comforter but recently became allergic. I decided to invest in this one and so far I love it! It’s a great weight and keeps me warm! They delivered to my house very quickly during COVID which was amazing! I’m a little worried about washing as I like to wash (or at least put in dryer) my bedding a lot to keep dust mites down…I’ve washed it once and it was fine.

This has been a perfect hypoallergenic high quality washable comforter for my teen. We switched all of our bedding products to natural latex mattresses and wool toppers with washable wool comforters. Our family highly recommends this product as well as other bedding products from this wonderful local, family owned business.
