Washable Wool Mattress Pad – ultimate breathability for a moisture free sleep environment
Temperature regulation is important for restful sleep and our Washable Wool Mattress Pad is by far one of our most trusted products to help balance your body temp. Did you know the average human can perspire a pint or more each night? Moisture can affect whether you’re sleeping hot or cold and clammy. Wools natural ability to wick away and absorb moisture makes it a great choice for bedding. Wool can actually hold up to 1/3 of its weight in water without feeling wet to the touch. Meaning with wool, any perspiring you do during your sleep is no longer against your skin, causing your temperature to swing.
The Washable Wool Mattress Pad is encased top and bottom with 100% Cotton and quilted with 100% Belgian Lambswool filling on the inside. This combination gives you a breathable and moisture-free sleep environment so you can slumber comfortably through the night. The mattress pad also features deep corner pockets for easy dressing. Coupled with a full perimeter elastic for the stay-taut, smooth surface you need.
Note: Our Washable Wool Mattress Pad will arrive oversized, it’s designed to ‘shrink to fit’ in one or two wash cycles.

Question: What process or chemicals has the wool in your washable wool products undergone so it doesn’t felt during washing?
Answer: Our washable wool filling in our products are bathed in hydrogen peroxide to strip scales from the wool, while maintaining its natural wicking benefits. This process assures we deliver the cleanest, low maintenance product possible without using bleach or plasticizing the wool.
