With zippered 100% cotton cover, you can easily access your pillows fill and make any necessary comfort adjustments whenever you need. Make your pillow be just the way you like it and when your sleep positions change, your pillow can too!
Our patented Botanicore™ shredded latex is made exclusively from rubber trees and sourced from a low-impact, sustainable process right here in Seattle. We shred excess material, the byproduct of cutting latex for our mattresses and toppers, for use in pillows and pet beds. We divert this wonderful fill material from the waste stream and turn it into something great.
Suggested: Add a protective layer to your new pillow with our Waterproof Pillow Protectors designed to keep your pillows feeling fresh, clean and stain free. Adding a protective layer makes it so you can leave your encasement with the shredded fill just the way you like it, instead simply remove your protective cover, machine wash and put back on.

MARGARET R HAAT –
After the latex smell fades (a couple of weeks) I really enjoy the relief I get from sleeping on it. I have some neck issues.

I don’t have a latex allergy, but his pillow took a solid year to air out and lose the overwhelmingly terrible ‘rubber balloon smell’ that made it completely unusable for me. I also had to take half of the stuffing out to have a size that worked for my sleeping patterns, but when I did so there was enough latex to make 2 pillows out of the one. This pillow may or may not work for you, depending on your tolerance for sleeping with balloons, and your patience.
Jeff –
While purchasing my mattress at Bedrooms & More, I really loved the pillow they had in the showroom so I bought these pillows at the same time. I was surprised by the size and weight of the pillows I received but I originally thought they would settle and compress. That never happened and only after going back to the store did I learn that I could open them up and remove some of the shredded latex. I wish I had asked the weight of the pillow that I tried in the store so I could have an equivalent at home. I ended up taking enough shredded latex out of the two pillows to fill an IKEA pillow cover with the extra shredded latex to make a full additional pillow. Ending up with three pillows for the price of two is a nice bonus!
The pillows have held up really well, they definitely do not wear out and go flat like so many other types of pillows. Because they were so overstuffed, I only ever ended up using them to hold, somewhat like a body pillow, instead of ever laying my head on them, but I really like them (as does my cat, who will often sleep half on one of the pillows and half on me).
One other thing to note is I did not realize that queen-sized pillows are larger than “regular-size” pillows (I had assumed there were just “regular” size and “king” size pillows). The larger size meant my regular pillow cases do not always cover the whole pillow. I’ve never found queen size pillow cases anywhere except specialty stores. Department and discount stores pretty much just sell standard- and king-sized pillow cases, even in queen-size sheet sets.
I’m only knocking off one star because removing so much shredded latex was really kind of a pain and it ended up all over the place. When you open up one of these pillows to remove some of the stuffing, make sure to do it in a garage or outdoors and be ready with a bag or an empty pillow cover to fill up. Comfort-wise, once you get the filling adjusted to your preference, you will definitely enjoy this pillow for many years.
