Taylor Chest
Taylor’s clean and classic five drawer chest is versatile and well-suited for modern to transitional lifestyles. Luxury scaled, Taylor is craftsman-built in gorgeous solid Amber bamboo, Taylor’s design combines beauty and functionality with sustainable, natural materials.
Five solid bamboo drawers display the rich bamboo, with each drawer beautifully finished inside and out. Each drawer is built using English dovetail joinery, and sit on under-mounted, soft-close glides for easy opening and closing. Each drawer is faced with Amber solid bamboo material, with a contrasting interior of warm caramelized solid bamboo, and accented with a slim matte black steel drawer pull. A slim matte black steel base and legs lift the chest up off the floor.
The simple clean lines of Taylor show off the rich variety of Amber’s colors. Environmentally safe, Amber is not a surface stain, the color is the result of an innovative caramelization process using heat, steam, and pressure to transform the solid bamboo material into Amber’s splendid array of colors, creating a unique and beautifully striped grain with continuous color throughout. Variations in grain and color enrich the natural beauty of bamboo furniture and make each piece unique. Slight differences in bamboo shade colors are signs that the furniture is crafted from solid bamboo and considered a benchmark of quality.
