The top mattress is essential for a more hygienic, fresh and healthy sleep. Furthermore, the top mattress improves not only your sleep climate and your bed’s longevity, but it is also important to give your bed superior sleep comfort. With a quilting pattern design, the top mattress has a smoother, flatter surface which provides a higher surface flexibility, maximizing the overall shape and comfort.

To ensure your top mattress stays in mint condition for as long as possible, Hästens recommends the following:

• Flip and rotate the top mattress frequently, recommended every 4 weeks, or each time you change the sheets.
• Use a mattress protector. Hästens mattress protectors are wonderfully comfortable and machine washable. They offer strong, durable, highly absorbent, and breathable protection for your top mattress – which will greatly extend its longevity.

Your Hästens BJX Luxury Top Mattress is made using the highest quality, 100% natural materials. As such, it is not machine washable, either in water or by dry cleaning. But accidents do happen and textile cleaner or furniture foam should be sufficient to clean any stains. However, there is a small chance the cleaner could damage the fire retardant or discolor the fabric. To prevent this, Hästens suggests testing a small portion on an unobtrusive section of the mattress.
