Sustainable and earth friendly, Wheat finish is not a surface stain, the color is the result of an innovative process using heat, steam, and pressure to transform the solid bamboo material into Wheat’s variety of tones. The environmentally safe finish displays a beautiful grain pattern with continuous color throughout the material.

Bamboo Care
Do not use wax or polish on your bamboo furniture. To prevent staining or water marks, make sure to clean spills immediately, using a dabbing motion with a soft cloth. For periodic cleaning use a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner designed for wood furniture. Avoid cleaners that contain abrasive materials, oil, acidic or caustic ingredients or any other harsh chemicals. Avoid placing furniture directly in front of heat vents, wood burning stoves or other heat sources. Never place bamboo furniture in direct sunlight day after day.
Warranty
Greenington warrants that the furniture you purchase will be free of factory defects in construction and workmanship. Warranty duration is for twelve months from the date of furniture delivery and applies to the original purchaser only. View full warranty details here.

Greenington harvests one of Earth's fastest-growing plants straight from bamboo forests in China to design naturally beautiful furniture in a process that is environmentally friendly and helps sustain our planet. Bamboo is one of the best plants on Earth to sequester carbon, because it releases approximately 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees.
No waste.
Each bamboo culm used in the production of Greenington products is individually selected by the local farmer and harvested by hand. This preserves the ecosystem of the native bamboo forest, and leaves the bamboo root system intact, from which new bamboo shoots will emerge and grow the following year. Greenington does not use clear cutting, a timber harvesting method that involves the removal of standing trees in a given area, commonly used in the wood lumber industry. As such, Greenington utilizes the entire bamboo culm in the manufacturing process, wasting nothing. 100% of the bamboo material is used, including the sawdust, which is put to use generating steam for the dry kiln room and press machine.
