Designer Rafauli Ferris is known in the design industry for his innovative projects and luxury home builds for elite clients around the world. In designing the Vividus, Ferris took inspiration from Hästens’ heritage and long history as bed and saddle-makers.

This richly textured hide has symbolized the pinnacle of sophistication and luxury for many centuries. Rafauli has revived this exclusive leather, using it on the corners and decorative handles.
Naturally Tanned Leather
High quality European leather which is tanned without chemicals and carefully dyed in four unique colors chosen by Ferris Rafauli to suit most interior color palettes. The leather is cut with utmost precision and all edges are burnished, then polished for an ultra-smooth finish.
Golden Brass Details
Reminiscent of the buckles and studs on horse saddles and Hastens lineage as saddle-maker to the Swedish Royal Court – the Grand Vividus is adorned with an impressive name plate. All leather details are also secured by hand with golden brass studs.
Fabric
Made from 100% breathable cotton, the Grand Vividus is beautifully upholstered by hand with a unique woven fabric, also designed by Ferris Rafauli, based on Hästens’ iconic horse insignia originally created in 1917.
Nubuck
The impressive solid base is upholstered in debossed check-pattern nubuck. Each beautiful, continuous length is reminiscent of a world of luxurious travel. The nubuck is especially created and dyed for Grand Vividus in Rafauli’s four versatile colors.

No foam, rubber, latex or polyurethane materials are used in Hästens products.
Hästens adjustable beds are accredited to meet ecological requirements for energy usage, with standby power consumption of less than 0.5W.
All Hastens down products are filled with the highest quality traceable European down and feathers, obtained without cruelty to birds.
Your Hästens bed is made using the highest quality, 100% natural materials. As such, it is not machine washable, either in water or by dry cleaning. But accidents do happen and textile cleaner or furniture foam should be sufficient to clean any stains. However, there is a small chance the cleaner could damage the fire retardant or discolor the fabric. To prevent this, Hästens suggests to test a small portion on an unobtrusive section of your mattress. For ultimate mattress protection, it is recommend you use a Hästens bed skirt and mattress cover.
