Salus Innerspring Mattress
The Salus Innerspring Mattress is both durable and responsive. This is an all-natural bed. Northwest wool and domestically farmed cotton surrounding a Leggett & Platt pocketed coil system. The mattress is tufted for durability. The upholstery is the same on both sides. Two-sided mattresses last 3 times as long as one-sided beds.
This mattress is similar to the Kai mattress in upholstery. However, in the Salus innerspring mattress, we use a different coil unit.
Both the Kai and the Salus come in a standard and organic version. We have them assembled in Auburn, WA. by a 3rd generation mattress family. Cascade Manufacturing makes all types of mattresses. This mattress was a collaboration between Blake here at Bedrooms & More and Laurie Simpson (one of the three sisters that own Cascade). The goal was to make an adjustable base friendly natural mattress without latex foam. Some people don’t want latex in their mattress. Though it can be a natural material, some are sensitive to the smell. This bed does have a subtle wool odor when fresh out of the mattress protector bag.

What’s Inside the Salus?
The luxury feel of the Salus Innerspring Mattress comes from its cotton & wool batting on both top & bottom of the Bolsa pocket coil system. To cover it all up, an organic cotton cover for a smooth finish. Mattress depth is approximately 10 inches.
Two-Sided
Know the two-sided difference. The longevity of your mattress comes down to a hand full of factors. Such as materials inside, the amount of use, weight, and if it’s two-sided. All of our mattresses here at Bedrooms & More are two-sided. Because of this, the mattress gets even wear and weight distribution. Each time you flip or rotate the mattress it feels next to new, so you definitely want to keep up on it.
Manufacturing
Quality materials and expert craftsmanship combine to bring you mattresses made to last. Giving you the most comfort and best value for your sleep investment. Warranty
10-year manufacturer warranty. This warranty begins the day your mattress is delivered and applies to the original purchaser. It includes defects such as 1 & 1/2″ measurable impressions when measured against surrounding areas. As well as, loose or broken springs, coils that protrude through the fabric. The consumer is responsible for transportation costs for warranty repairs.

I own two of these mattresses and find them to be a good balance between firm/supportive and conforming/comfortable for a side sleeper.
