Product Care
Simple tips to maintain your new furniture:
Regularly dust your furniture with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water, and wipe in the direction of the wood grain. To remove fingerprints and/or greasy smears: use a solution of one part white vinegar to four parts water or opt for commercial grade product such as; Simple Green®.
To prevent scratches, use felt discs under lamps and any accessories that are placed on top of your furnitures surface. If you choose to use glass on top of wood, use discs between the glass and the wood to allow proper air circulation.
Whittier Wood does not recommended using cleaning products with ammonia or silicone base, or any waxes and/or polishes as these can leave a residue that can dull your furnitures finish over time.

Your Whittier Wood Furniture piece has been crafted to last many years. Here are some simple tips to maintain your new furniture.

Note: a final wipe with clean water and a soft cloth is always recommended.
Do not use cleaning products with ammonia or silicone base. Use of waxes and polishes are also not recommended because they can leave a residue that could dull your furniture finish.
