Frame & Construction
All Van Gogh Designs frames are sturdily built from Baltic Birch plywood. The 18mm thick plywood has 13 laminated layers to provide the ultimate stability and structure for your frame. Each frame is then joined, glued and stapled, ready to begin their journey to become your personally designed piece.
Frames are made with a combination of engineered wood and solid hard wood products ensuring superior quality and uniform strength. Components are designed using CAD software and produced using the latest CNC technology. This process allows Van Gogh Designs to manufacture more complex frames while increasing consistency in frame construction and design.
All frames have increased strength with the use of interlocking components, corner blocks, and rails without the waste of excess material. Frames are then wrapped in polyurethane foam and fiber for padding, Fabric components are also cut using precision CNC technology and then sewn by skilled craftsmen.
