Innovation is at the heart of every American Leather® product. From precise tailoring techniques, to cutting-edge designs, American Leather produces quality and comfort you can feel.
American Leather is a founding member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council. The SFC helps companies adopt eco-friendly practices. This certification assures customers that they are supporting businesses that operate sustainably.
Earth-friendly
American Leather hides are dyed using water-based pigments, this helps prevent toxic materials from entering the home and atmosphere. Additionally, our leather scraps are recycled and used to produce small leather goods like tennis shoes
Sustainable
American Leathers wood frames are harvested from sustainable forests and are precision-engineered to create as little scrap as possible — any additional scrap is recycled as fill for pet bedding.
Recyclable
Between the wood frames and masterful upholstery American Leathers state-of-the-art cushions are also recyclable. The brand only uses high-resiliency foam that helps prevent ozone depletion.
Mattress Types Explained...
HiPerform (Standard)
Every Comfort Sleeper comes standard with our HiPerform mattress. Peak performance runs deep. An infusion of carbon fiber enhances performance right down to the core: foam that's lighter than ever before, yet stronger and more supportive than you've ever experienced.
Cooling Gel (+Upgrade)
The conductive power of copper equips the Comfort Sleeper's Cooling Gel option with a thermoregulatory matrix that responds to your body. Paired with an exceptionally supportive foundation, the perfect night's sleep just got much easier.
Tempur-Pedic® (+Upgrade)
Tempur-Pedic foam conforms perfectly to your body, allowing shoulders and hips to sink into the mattress and virtually eliminates painful pressure points. Comfort Sleeper is proud to offer this option that creates a true custom fit for those who prefer the firmest nights sleep.
What kind of leather does American Leather use?
American Leather offers 3 leather types based on levels of durability and protection from daily life.
- Light Protection: Soft and supple leather. Requires moderate attention to maintain its beauty.
- Medium Protection: Not as soft of light protection, does not require as much attention. There’s more protection for all the things that life throws your way.
- Heavy Protection: Offers the most protection. The heavily pigmented finish coat serves as a barrier to spills, stains and fading.

How should I clean my leather furniture?
First, review the care label of your furniture.
Under normal usage and conditions, regular dry-cloth dusting and vacuum cleaning in crevices and along the bottom are all that is necessary to clean your furniture.
DO NOT USE: Saddle soap, cleaning solvents, furniture polish, oils, varnish, abrasive cleaners, detergent soaps or ammonia water.
Always try any cleaning method in a hidden area first to verify the results. For minor or slight scratches on the surface, use a soft cloth or clean fingers to gently buff the scratch. If needed, moisten lightly with distilled water to work scratches out.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damage incurred while cleaning.
