Anniversia by Mats Alden

A generous headboard with a true vintage feel, designed by Mats Aldén. Crafted in naturally tanned leather, exquisite details like the hand-stitched seams hark back to our saddle making heritage. Anniversia first graced bedrooms in 2012, as part of the Hästens 160-year birthday celebrations. Featuring 9 cm high oak legs, this headboard can be attached to both the wall and the bed itself. Made with certified organic Swedish leather available in Chocolate, Cognac and Black. Anniversia is 52.8″ (134cm) high and 3.9″ (10cm) deep.

Appaloosa by Bernadotte & Kylberg

To celebrate 40 years of Hästens Blue Check, we let design duo Bernadotte & Kylberg loose on our iconic squares. The result? An award-winning Cubist-inspired interpretation so intricate it calls for its very own double-layered weaving pattern. Less of a headboard, more of a modern classic in the making. Appaloosa headboard can be attached to either the wall or the bed.Appaloosa headboard is available in heights of 45.2″ (125cm) and 63.4″ (161cm). The depth is 2.4″ (6cm).

Atlas

With its classic upholstery fabric, button detailing and tastefully curved lines, bed-mounted Atlas is an elegant piece of furniture in its own right. Atlas is available in heights of 37.4″ (95cm) and 45.2″ (125cm). The depth is 2.4″ (6cm). Choose between cotton fabrics from categories A, B, C, D and E.

Being by Ilse Crawford

An ingeniously sloping headboard, designed to support and enhance the experience of being in bed. Firmness at the base offers lower back support and gradually gives way to a comforting softness at head level. It is offered in range of dimensions to ensure the slope is accurately angled for every Hästens bed model. This bed-mounted headboard, with recommended legs for extra stability, is available in Blue Check and can be dressed in a hemp cover from the Isle collection. Being Headboard depth is 7.9″ (20cm).

David

Stylish with a pleasingly subtle slope, the David headboard owes its good looks to architect Thomas Eriksson. Whether it is mounted to the wall or the bed itself, the David headboard never touches the floor, creating a pleasing floating impression (and an easier space for cleaning). Made from pine, wool, and cotton. David is available in heights of 37.4″ (95cm) and 45.2″ (125cm).The depth is 6″ (15cm).

Ebbe

At first glance, this understated headboard is the very definition of simple. Then you notice the detailed seams, a tribute to craftsmanship. Whether you choose a cotton jacquard, merino wool or canvas finish or affix your headboard to the wall or bed, this headboard whispers elegance, night after night. Ebbe is available in heights of 37.4″ (95cm) and 45.2″ (125cm). The depth is 3″ (7.5cm). Made from pine wool and cotton. Choose between cotton fabrics from categories A, B, C, D and E.

Harmoni by Jack Ryde

Real classic. Designed by Jack Ryde, fourth-generation Hästens family and the creator of our iconic blue check. Soft lines and characterful corners bring a comforting feel to the bedroom. Like the David headboard, Harmoni can be both wall and bed mounted. The headboard cover is removable and washable at 40 degrees. Harmoni is available in heights of 37.4″ (95cm) and 45.2″ (125cm). The depth on both options is 2″ (5cm). Choose between cotton fabrics from categories A, B, C, D and E.

Marwari by Bernadotte & Kylberg

This rich, lustrous brown headboard by Bernadotte & Kylberg is designed to accompany Hästens Marwari. It is also a respectful nod to our family’s saddle-making origins, as the intricately-woven fabric echoes that of a horse’s girth. Marwari headboard can be attached to either the wall or the bed. Marwari headboard is available in heights of 45.2″ (125cm) and 63.4″ (161cm). The depth is 2.4″ (6cm). Made of pine, wool and cotton.
