Firstly, use coasters and pads to prevent damage from heat, moisture or heavy objects. In addition, do not use wax or polish on your bamboo furniture. Further, to prevent staining or water marks, make sure to clean spills immediately, using a dabbing motion with a soft cloth. For periodic cleaning use a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner designed for wood furniture. Finally, avoid cleaners that contain abrasive materials, oil, acidic or caustic ingredients or any other harsh chemicals.

Care and Maintenance for your Greenington Furniture
All Greenington furniture is made of 100% natural bamboo. It is very hard, dense and extremely durable. Like any natural hardwood furniture, maintaining the humidity in a controlled environment is also very important for bamboo furniture. Keeping the relative humidity in the range of 40 to 55 percent will greatly reduce the potential for any checking or warping, allowing you to better preserve the natural beauty of the pieces. Here are some general tips that'll go a long way towards maintaining and caring for your new furniture pieces.
Damage Prevention

The first time they tried to deliver, the table arrived damaged. But the delivery guys made sure to thoroughly check the condition of the table before leaving, and they took it back to deliver a replacement when they discovered the damage, when another place probably wouldn’t have inspected it so thoroughly and would have left us with a broken table. So, A+ service. I’ve since though noticed a couple things about the table’s design that I think are less quality. One is that after a couple months, we noticed one side was a visibly different color than the other due to fading in the sun. It may be the case that it visibly fades quite a bit when it’s brand new, and that after the initial fading, it’ll fade at a more expected rate. The other, which is more of a concern, is if people lean on the table, especially when at the ends, which people inevitably do without thinking, you can see the table’s surface visibly bend. It makes me question how sturdy this thing is, and I hope the hinges are able to take this type of torque, but I’m worried they may get destroyed after years of people leaning on it.
