Currant Chest
The Currant Chest has 5 spacious drawers for ample storage. Made of solid moso bamboo, the currant is designed with smooth rounded corners showcasing the stunning grain variation. The Currant chest features solid bamboo drawer boxes, finished inside and out, and constructed using English dovetail joinery with soft closing, undermount drawer glides. Finishing the look are sleek recessed drawer pulls, and handsomely shaped legs which taper towards the floor. Beautifully finished on all four sides, the Currant Chest is available in two rich bamboo colors: Caramelized and Amber Bamboo

Bamboo Care
Do not use wax or polish on your bamboo furniture. To prevent staining or water marks, make sure to clean spills immediately, using a dabbing motion with a soft cloth. For periodic cleaning use a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner designed for wood furniture. Always, avoid cleaners that contain abrasive materials, oil, acidic or caustic ingredients or any other harsh chemicals.

Bamboo is one of the best plants on Earth to sequester carbon, because it releases approximately 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees.
No waste.
Each bamboo culm used in the production of Greenington products is individually selected by the local farmer and harvested by hand. This preserves the ecosystem of the native bamboo forest, and leaves the bamboo root system intact, from which new bamboo shoots will emerge and grow the following year. Greenington does not use clear cutting, a timber harvesting method that involves the removal of standing trees in a given area, commonly used in the wood lumber industry. As such, Greenington utilizes the entire bamboo culm in the manufacturing process, wasting nothing. 100% of the bamboo material is used, including the sawdust, which is put to use generating steam for the dry kiln room and press machine.
